As 2022 draws to a close and we look forward to whatever new opportunities the new year will bring, we’re taking time to reflect on all our favorite things from the last year. As with everything, it can sometimes get a little hard to see the forest for the trees, and we’re glad we took the opportunity to remember what’s truly the most important—that’s YOU, dear readers. Everything we do here is for you, and we’ve delighted in seeing all the recipes you liked, shared, commented on, and made for your friends and family. In celebration, click through for your favorite recipes of 2022 (in no particular order).

Our TikTok-inspired baked feta pasta was our top recipe for the second year in a row. It’s kind of the perfect encapsulation of the types of recipes we aim to deliver—fun, accessible, and with a little Delish twist. Best part? Its simple yet delicious flavor profile is ripe for riffing, so we’ve turned it into baked feta soup, baked feta bites, baked feta eggs… we implore you to get creative too.

On that note, we all know how tough it can be to make dinner night after night, and we’re pretty proud of the inventive ways we came up with to help you keep your meals feeling fresh. Shrimp- and salmon-centered meals, like our garlicky shrimp zucchini boats, our honey-glazed salmon, and our pineapple salmon, were very popular, but as always, chicken reigned supreme. Our one-pan creamy chicken & gnocchi, our marry me chicken, our one-pot shawarma chicken orzo skillet, and our creamy Tuscan chicken were some of your tops. Want even more chicken dinners? Keep your eye out for our Chicken Dinners Quarterly Magazine, available early next year.

Worried you might miss it? Don’t be! Simply subscribe to Delish Unlimited so you don’t miss a thing next year. Hot tip: Our membership also makes a great last-minute gift. Want a sneak peek? Check us out on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube—trust us, there’s even more to come next year.

We can’t wait to share more recipes with you, of course, but there are also some exciting behind-the-scenes improvements coming. As a preview, you only need look to our new saved recipes feature. We hope it makes things even easier on you in the kitchen, whether you’re a pro or a culinary novice.

As we went through this list, we were heartened to see so many of our how-to recipes present on it, like our guides on how to cook steak in the oven, how to microwave a sweet potato, and how to cook rice. Even the most skilled of us can use a little help in the kitchen from time to time, and we’re very glad to be an information destination for so many of you.

Though those may have come as a bit of a surprise to see here, there were some recipes we just knew would kill it—our cranberry whipped feta was a late addition, but we can already tell it’s going to become famous, matched only in your hearts by our cranberry brie bites or our brie, asparagus, & prosciutto bundles. We love thinking of all the fabulous celebrations you’ve served these apps at and are glad to have been a part of those good times. Cheers (maybe with a sangria slushy or a pink seƱorita, also on this list) to more to come in the New Year!
