8 of the Best Celebrity Recipes to Go Viral in 2022 - The Takeout

Once again the Hadid food influence is real. After posting a TikTok of herself on a hike with a friend, Bella’s picnic-style lunch once again piqued people’s curiosities. She followed up with a recipe video for the delicious-looking sandwich people could not stop asking about. The sandwich itself uses many ingredients as it has multiple sauces on it, but some of the main ingredients include mayonnaise, lettuce, olive oil, chili flakes, dried basil, red wine vinegar, turkey, salami, cheese, and tomatoes, all on a baguette.

Although Jenifer Aniston debunked this salad’s origin story, that did not stop the internet from making it go viral. Rumor had it that Aniston enjoyed this heavy chick pea salad for lunch every day on the set of Friends. However, the actress told Elle that wasn’t true, and in fact this salad contained way too many chick peas for her liking. Her actual go-to? Something similar to a Cobb salad. Let’s get that recipe trending.

Queen Elizabeth II died in September of this year, and along with condolences being shared across the globe came a wave of interest in the queen’s culinary habits. During this time of remembrance, a recipe from the queen herself resurfaced on the internet, reported TODAY. These royal pancakes, better known as drop scones, were first shared by the queen in a letter to President Dwight D. Eisenhower in 1960. The drop scones are thick, small griddle cakes that resemble pancakes, fit for royalty.

In true Monica fashion, Courtney Cox chefs things up in her kitchen and often shares her dishes with fans and friends alike. Her most recent viral recipe, she notes on her Instagram post, actually comes from singer Brandi Carlile, whom Cox says has a better recipe than her own. The recipe includes using ground, black coffee or espresso as a rub on the meat, which is likely part of what makes it stand out among other recipes shared by celebs.

This Taki hack came from award-winning singer, Lizzo, who also happens to be vegan. So, what stands out about this comfort snack is that the “cheese” is vegan and requires a number of ingredients to make. Lizzo noted on TikTok that there was no real scientific recipe, but to make the cheese she used Japanese sweet potatoes, high-protein tofu, onion, garlic, nutritional yeast, Kelly’s gourmet cheesy parmesan salt, pepper, habañero hot sauce, and vegan smoked Gouda.

Not necessarily a recipe, but the audio from this brief clip of two House of the Dragon actors discussing their drinks of choice did cause many bartenders to brace themselves for an uptick in negroni spagliato orders. In the viral clip, Olivia Cooke who plays Alicent Hightower on the show, asks Emma D’Arcy their drink of choice. D’Arcy responds in an almost seductive tone, “A Negroni Spagliato with Prosecco in it,” as Cooke replies “stunnin’!” enthusiastically. The drink itself is simple. Normally a Negroni is equal parts gin, Campari, and sweet vermouth, garnished with an orange, but the Sbagliato swaps out the gin for Prosecco or any kind of sparkling wine.

This is list would be incomplete without the salad dressing that potentially, allegedly may have ended a marriage. Wilde’s former nanny revealed that Jason Sudeikis, Wilde’s former partner, was heartbroken over the fact that the actress made this dressing for someone else. The actress has not yet confirmed what’s actually in this mysterious, apparently life-changing salad dressing recipe. However, TODAY reported many suspect the dressing is a vinaigrette after the actress shared a photo from Nora Ephron’s book Heartburn.
